Hello dear blog readers! It's been over a month since my last post, so I thought I'd check in with everyone. We are still accepting structures in Pocahontas County for the 2016 field season, so if you know of one, please do tell us about it as soon as possible!
In other news, I have been busy writing grant proposals to help support our 2016 field season, which will begin in April. We've got a great lineup for Greenbrier, Pocahontas, and Pendleton counties so far, and Shawn and I are counting down the days until we dust off the old drills again!
I've also been wrapping up the dating of the Barracks, McCoy Fort, and the Old Kile Homestead for presentations in the spring. Again, busy times here. We will post dates for these presentations in the next few months.
Do any of you watch Barnwood Builders on DIY Channel? I think you'd like it. Mark Bowe (from Lewisburg, WV) and his crew rescue and re-purpose historic logs. You know I love it!
